Young people including little ones under the age of two are very sadly susceptible to the new variant and we are hearing increasingly of hospitalisations amongst the young and, tragically, deaths even in our own school community.

 

If you are taking one of your children to have a COVID-19 test, you must please immediately come and pick up your other child from school.

You must do this – by law – even if the child you are testing has clear symptoms of some other illness and you think that probably the high temperature is due to something like a tummy bug or an ear infection. 

 

Children are now testing positive at the same time as obviously having some other illness such as an ear infection.
