School Priorities

Our priorities for school improvement

Each year, senior leaders produce a School Improvement Plan (SIP) to map out key priorities, actions and resource allocations for enhancing pupil outcomes.

A SIP is essential for setting clear, actionable goals and ensuring all school stakeholders are working towards the same objectives, ultimately aiming for a better, more effective learning environment.

School staff and governors meet in the summer term each year to review the year's priorities and plan ahead for the forthcoming academic year.

Priorities for the year 2025/26

Priority 1: To ensure every pupil receives a high-quality oracy education over the next two years focusing in the first year on the ability to articulate ideas, engage with others through spoken language and deepen listening skills.

Priority 2: Continue to ensure that the well-being needs of our pupils and staff are met to the highest degree by prioritising unconditional positive regard and good attendance throughout the school community.

Priority 3: Further enhance the strong provision for our pupils with SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
