The staff at school are missing the children very much and as a symbol of care and awareness of the well-being of the children in our school we are each going to tie a ribbon to the school gates with our names on. Unfortunately, the Year 2 bubble and some other staff members are now isolating so we may not be place our ribbons until after Monday 15th February. We would love it if your child could add their own ribbon to the school gate on their daily exercise on one of the days in the half term holiday. The idea is that this will end up being a display of us all still coming together as one even when we can’t physically be together. Please could we request that the Nursery children put their ribbons on the small gate near the back of Nursery, Reception put their ribbons on the large gate near Nursery, Year 1 put their ribbons on the large gate by the dining hall and Year 2 put their ribbons on the small gate at the front of Year 2 and the large infant school gate at the front of the school. You will see ribbons from your teachers already on the gate so that you can check which gate to use. Older siblings, who no longer attend the infants’ school are welcome to add their ribbons to the gates as well. The staff are really looking forward to seeing all of the ribbons when they return from the half term break.
